Dida Faridoon: a journalist and a filmmaker

She communicates fluently in multiple languages, including Kurdish, Arabic, English, German, and Persian. She has worked with both local and international TV channels as a reporter, writer, presenter, and documentary filmmaker, including Rudaw, Kurdistan TV, Zagros TV, and Deutsche Welle. Additionally, she has contributed to newspapers such as TAZ Zeitung and served as the director of KurdistanIN, a website available in four languages. Her work has covered significant events in Iraq, Syria, and Jordan, with a focus on the stories of people living in conflict zones and the challenges faced by minority groups. She is also a member of the Marie Colvin Journalists’ Network.
