Earlier this month, the French Research Center for Iraq in coordination with the University of Soran and Science Po Grenoble organised a conference in Erbil, Iraq on the Kurdish Question in the Middle East. Philippe Destatte, President of the Destrée Institute and associate professor at the University of Mons, specialised in regional development, Federalism and Wallonia, described how Belgian coexistence operated  through the country’s institutional and political practices.
